JHR Developments, also known by its abbreviation JHR, is a British former GPGSL racing team. It was founded by team owner Jack Hunsley. The team entered the GPGSL in Season 9, replacing Christel VXR. It stayed in the series until Season 10 when Hunsley vanished, leaving the team in huge debits.
Racing History
Season 9
Powered by Maserati engines and Pirelli tyres, JHR entered the GPGSL at the start of Season 9 with Gareth McCarthy and a young Eric Moinet as their main drivers, team owner Jack Hunsley and Chris Copeman were the test drivers for the start of the season, but at the Dutch Grand Prix Copeman was replaced by rookie Giovanna Michail. The team did pretty good, with Moinet scoring a podium at the French Grand Prix and an unexpected win at the South African Grand Prix, but despite those two results the car was often slow compared to the other more experienced teams, and after a 10 point penalty all hope of a good season result was lost. JHR finished the season with the 11th and last place of the constructors championship.
Season 10
For the Season 10, JHR switched to Goodyear tryes and kept its lineup, but now with Moinet as the lead driver. McCarthy scored another podium for the team, with the 2nd place at the Japanese Grand Prix, but left the team midway through the season, with Michail taking over his seat and rookie Joshua Collins signing as their new test driver. The car once again lacked pace, and owner Hunsley decided to leave the team at Moinet's hand for the last three rounds. Hunsley was never seen again, and with the 10th place at the championship and huge debits the team was bought by Moinet for $1.
