The French Grand Prix has been an occasional event on the GPGSL calendar. Of the five different runnings of the event, four different circuits have been used.
Notable events
- The event in Season 2 was cancelled due to track issues at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit. The Season 9 event at Dijon-Prenois also suffered from track issues, but was able to be postponed to a later date. Shadow driver Tobias Kederer turned up for the scheduled date, completing the race distance and declaring himself winner. The GPGSLRS declared the results null and void.
- The Season 7 event at Paul Ricard was the 100th GPGSL race. It was also the final race win in the series for Marko Aleksander.
