Devil Fox Racing, also known as Devil Fox or by its abbreviation DFR, is a Dutch former GPGSL racing team. It was founded by team owner Byron van het Bolscher. The team entered the GPGSL in Season 3, after round 7 as a replacement for Double F. It stayed in the series until Season 4 when both the team and Bolscher retired.

Racing History

Season 3

The team entered the series in the Belgian Grand Prix of Season 3, after team owner Byron van het Bolscher offered to take over Double F spot and structures in the league. DFR would maintain Double F's two main drivers Zsigmond Somogyi and Christopher Hinz for the rest of the season as a way of not harming their careers. Powered by an Alfa Romeo engine, and with Bridgestone tyres, the team managed as a best result the 4th place of Somogyi at the Malaysian Grand Prix. In the end, Double F's points were awarded to DFR, meaning with this the 8th place at the constructors championship.

Season 4

Following Somogyi's departure to Team Shadow, the team brought True North Racing's former driver Maikel de Boer to start alongside Hinz, and at the Japanese Grand Prix they signed rookies Joel Henrique and Chris Copeman as test drivers. On its second season, the team finally scored a podium with the 3rd place of De Boer at Suzuka, but despite this, the season was not very good for them, and with a drop to 10th at the constructors championship, Van Het Bolscher decided to close the team and retire from the series.
