Daniel Thomas is a Australian GPGSL driver who is currently driving for Aston Martin Racing. He debuted in Season 6 as a test driver for SCR up until the Austrian Grand Prix where he was promoted to a race seat after the departure of Dean Kittleson. In Season 7 he retained his race seat and had a modest season finishing mostly in the mid-field and finished with 33 points. Not long before the end of Season 7 it was announced that Thomas would be moving to the Season 7 championship winning Aston Martin Racing for Season 8 in a test seat.
