Dan Paddock is a British former driver for Martini Paddock Racing, and the owner of the former GPGSL team Martini Paddock Racing. He competed in the GPGSL from Season 1 to Season 9.
Career[]
Dan started his career racing for Scuderia Seymour Racing in Season 1 of the GPGSL, but he was handed the reigns of the team prior to the start of the first race of the new series after team boss Mike Seymour's departure. The team was renamed Paddock Team Racing from the second race of the season onwards. For Season 2 of the GPGSL, the team was renamed Martini Paddock Racing and has remained that way since.
Paddock raced for his own team in both Season 1 and Season 2 of the GPGSL, before stepping down into a testing role that he stayed in until his retirement from the series.
Paddock claimed one fastest lap in his racing career at the Season 2 Austrian Grand Prix.
Helmet[]
Paddock initially raced with a design painted by Paolo Capriosa, that honoured his Irish heritage. He changed his design completely for Season 3, with a new helmet painted by Maikel de Boer. The design featured a granite grey base with elements of white and two yellow arrows that ran around the sides of the helmet, pointing forwards. The design was heavily influenced by that of the Brazilian driver Carlos Pace.
